Fruit juice is a source of calories and concentrated natural sugars. It tastes sweet, so it is easily consumed by children and too much juice can reduce appetite and even cause diarrhea, as well as weight gain.

4. Crackers

Crackers are also on the list of unhealthy foods for the child. This type of snack is served regularly in many preschools and playmates, but it is actually more like a cake.

These crackers are usually made from most processed flours coupled with additional sweeteners. Each sheet has about a teaspoon of added sugar.

Some crackers are fortified with calcium and contain little iron, but it would be smarter to get that mineral from more nutritious foods.
